    Sessions are done without makeup, jewelry, colored contacts, or glasses and colored hair is pulled back and covered so that we can assess your natural coloring with accuracy. This sets the foundation for everything that follows.

    Using color drapes, we begin by determining whether your skin reads cool or warm. This single foundational insight guides your entire analysis.

  • 3. Define Your Season

    Based on how undertone, value, and intensity interact with your features, we determine your broader home season: Spring, Summer, Autumn, or Winter.

  • 4. Refine Your Sub-Season

    This is where the precision of the 23-season system comes in. We narrow your results to one of 23 nuanced palettes, giving you a more exact and personalized outcome than other popular color systems.

  • 5. Reveal Your Palette

    The most exciting part! We uncover your most striking colors, walk through your results together, and discuss how to apply them to your wardrobe and beauty choices. You leave with a curated digital palette and a personalized PDF guide.

Aloha, I'm Katy, a color analyst mastery-trained through the world-renowned International Image Association, the founder of Maui Color Studio, and a True Winter ❄️.

As a wedding and portrait photographer, I spent years watching how color affected the way people looked and felt in front of my camera. The same bridesmaid dress or coordinated family outfit that made one person glow could wash another out completely. When I had my own personal color analysis in 2020, these observations started to make more sense to me.

What started as curiosity quickly became a genuine passion, leading me to pursue professional training through the International Image Association and eventually founding Maui Color Studio. Maui deserved a dedicated space for accurate, expertly guided color analysis, and I felt called to create it. I can’t wait to share that experience with you!
